For nearly 15 years, John and Julie Meloy of Big House Furniture stewarded the Sweetwater Trading Company™ brand and brought to life the familiar “frame-style pillow” we know and love today. Together with their team, John and Julie perfected pillow designs, took care of Sweetwater customers, and built real relationships with artists. They also relied on a local small family business called Brown Sales to assist with textile material cutting and, on occasion, sewing manufacturing.
As John and Julie considered retirement in 2022, they knew Stewart and Ross Brown, the father-son duo of Brown Sales, could steward the Sweetwater Trading Company™ brand in its next chapter with excellence. Founded in 1970, the Brown Sales team has a proven commitment to quality and service.
Brown Sales formally adopted the Sweetwater Trading Company™ brand at the end of 2022 and is honored to maintain the same high-quality to Sweetwater pillows that they have been famous for.
