“In a portrait, I capture the heart, soul and personality of any type of subject – dogs, horses, people – in acylic, graphite, oil or watercolor.” Chris Chantland has been painting for over 30 years and captures the personalities of sporting dogs, horses – and their owners – in original art and special commissions. Chris is a Signature Member of the Society of Animal Artists. Chris was the official artist of the National Retriever Club and National Amateur Retriever Club, and since 2000, painted many national champion retrievers. His paintings are part of the permanent collection of the National Bird Dog Museum in Grand Junction, Tennessee, and in private collections.
