I painted this as a tribute to all the best friends we've lost in our lifetimes. In the background, there is a hint of the colors of the rainbow as you go left to right. In the foreground, it is all monotone - sepia - just like when Dorothy first opens the door to the land of Oz. This is original framed oil painting.

Chris was the official artist of the National Retriever Club and National Amateur Retriever Club, and since 2000, painted many national champion retrievers. His paintings are part of the permanent collection of the National Bird Dog Museum in Grand Junction, Tennessee, and in private collections.
